Oct 14    Governor visit and Nucor Steel tour

Is glad to announce that Governor Dave Heineman has proclaimed October as Nebraska Manufacturing Month.  In celebration of Manufacturing Month, Nucor Steel will be hosting a tour of their Rolling Mill facility culminated with a presentation by Governor Dave Heineman.

TOUR GROUP GUIDELINES:
1) Minimum age for tour group member is 18 years of age
2) Minimum PPE Plant Wide for Tours
  • Long Pants
  • Closed toed flat soled shoes (NO mid or high heel, sandals, flip flops, etc.)
  • No rings or dangling jewelry
  • Hard Hat - Class G or E (Nucor will provide)
  • Safety Glasses with permanent side shields (Nucor will provide)
  • Hearing Protection - 29 NRR minimum (Nucor will provide)
  • Orange Flame Resistant Coat (Nucor will provide)
