DESCRIPTION:The Norfolk Police and Fire Divisions are set to battle it out again to help the American Red Cross replenish its blood supply.\n\nOn Thursday\, June 19\, you're invited to give the gift of life by taking part in the 'Battle of the Badges' blood drive.\n\n \n\n"We are looking forward to hosting a successful blood drive here at Fire Station 1. This drive will once again include a friendly competition between Police and Fire to see who can bring in the most donors. The mission of the Red Cross is extremely important\, and we hope you will join us in giving the gift of life on June 19\," said Tim Wragge\, Fire Chief.\n\n \n\n'Camp Do Good' is back! Remember going off to camp or even just watching classic summer camp movies filled with the thrill of adventure\, new friendships\, and the great outdoors? Channel that excitement to help save lives this summer. \n\n \n\nAll blood types are needed. If you are in good health\, at least 17 years old\, weigh at least 110 pounds\, and want to potentially save up to three lives with a single pint of blood\, please join us.
