Northeast Ne Ag Banquet
Members of the Agri-Business Council of the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce, celebrate northeast Nebraska’s #1 industry at their annual Northeast Nebraska Ag Banquet each June.
The event recognizes area producers and ag business in Madison, Antelope, Wayne, Pierce, Stanton, Boone and northern Platte counties for their contributions to the economic well-being of our communities. The banquet emphasizes the link between the business and agricultural communities. Open to the public, tickets are available through the Norfolk Chamber office or at the door. This annual event features a social hour, dinner, and a keynote speaker.
The primary focus of this event is to recognize and award area youth with continuing agri-business education scholarships. In the last seven years, scholarships totaling $31,750 have been awarded to 40 deserving area high school seniors and college students. Several deserving students, as well as the previous year’s Norfolk Beef Expo scholarship recipient, will be presented 2024 Northeast Nebraska Ag Community Scholarships that evening. It is the Council’s goal to continue growing this event in order to increase the number and dollar amounts of scholarships awarded.

How to Post on the Events Calendar
As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to promote your business’ events, meetings, and workshops on our Events Calendar. Being active in your community by hosting public events, is a great way to help market your business, and the Chamber is happy to assist you with this effort.
Submitting to the Events Calendar is easy, and completely FREE for all Chamber members! There are two options for Chamber businesses to use when posting events on our Events Calendar.

Member Information Center (MIC)
We encourage our members to use the Member Information Center as a way to independently post events, meetings, or workshops. Through your account information given to you by the Chamber, you are able to log into this system and post directly to our Events Calendar yourself! You can also use the MIC to access more exclusive Chamber member resources. To learn more about the MIC, or to get your account information, please contact ktichota@norfolkareachamber.com at the Chamber.

Contact the Chamber
The other option you can use when posting events, is to simply email the event details to the Chamber. The information you provide to us about your event will be used when posting onto the calendar. If you would like more control over the information given or details provided, we encourage you to try posting your event to the Member Information Center, as previously explained.
