Real Colors®, "You, Others & Their Real Colors"
Everyone has a distinct temperament spectrum comprised of four colors: Blue, Gold, Orange and Green. Learn to identify a person's Real Colors® and you'll gain insight into the things that are most important to them, discover the secret of what motivates them and much more. This workshop provides an opportunity for professionals to examine who they are and how they relate to their associates in the workplace. It empowers associates by teaching them effective communication skills and helping them understand their own behavior and the behavior of their friends, family, and co-workers. By learning to better understand and deal with the personality styles of others, participants gain power in every aspect of their lives, both professionally and personally. Performance Objectives After successful completion of the Real Colors ?You, Others and Their Real Colors? workshop participants will be able to: Recognize and appreciate their own unique blends of strengths and qualities. Recognize, appreciate, and understand the unique blends of strengths and qualities of others. Recognize their learning preferences and those of others. Speak in the Language of their listener Listen in the language of their speaker Identify and practice the skills necessary for enhanced communication by learning the most effective methods of speaking to different people. Oktoberfest -September 27st-28nd
Norfolk's 2013 Oktoberfest Family Festival will be held Friday Sept. 27 & Saturday, Sept. 28 in Downtown Norfolk, Nebraska. Two popular fall events, the Lions Club parade, and the Riverpoint Arts Festival, will fall under the umbrella of the Oktoberfest Family Festival, but they will maintain their individual names and traditions. The parade travels through downtown Norfolk, and the arts festival is in Johnson Park. A special ?Oktoberfest? beer will once again be brewed just for this event! Traditional German and contemporary bands will perform under a tent set up on the parking lot behind the Norfolk Are Chamber of Commerce building at Seventh Street and Norfolk Avenue.
