USDA will be promoting and explaining the 9007 Rural Energy For America Program for USDA Rural Development. REAP is designed to increase energy efficiencies and stimulate the development of renewable energy systems in rural America. The program can provide 25% grant funding to Agricultural Producers and Rural Small Businesses to assist them. We also refer businesses to NPPD to get their energy audit and then that audit information is used to justify the eligibility and scoring for our grant.Examples might include: Replace lighting or refrigeration systems in commercial buildings; install HVAC equipment retrofitting;replacement of inefficient windows and doors and adding insulation. Renewable energy technologies also apply.

Additional to the valuable services provided, NPPD has also launched our EnergyWise programs which provide opportunities for our customers to save energy, money, and help the environment.
