USDA will be promoting and explaining the 9007 Rural Energy For America Program for USDA Rural Development. REAP is designed to increase energy efficiencies and stimulate the development of renewable energy systems in rural America. The program can provide 25% grant funding to Agricultural Producers and Rural Small Businesses to assist them. We also refer businesses to NPPD to get their energy audit and then that audit information is used to justify the eligibility and scoring for our grant.Examples might include: Replace lighting or refrigeration systems in commercial buildings; install HVAC equipment retrofitting;replacement of inefficient windows and doors and adding insulation. Renewable energy technologies also apply.
Black Hills Energy: (3:30-4:00 pm)

Black Hills Energy will perform "walk through" audits and recommend steps to improve energy efficiency for commercial and industrial customers. Black Hills Energy will provide gas usage analysis and energy cost comparisons to help customers make wise decisions.
Progressive Property Inspections: (4:30-5:00 pm)

The average American homeowner can save 30% on their energy costs after an audit and weatherization upgrades. Do you know the efficiency rating of the new home you are buying or building? Building an Energy Star Rated home will save you from 15-50% on your energy costs and possibility reduce your home mortgage interest rate.
There will be a Q & A session from 5:00-6:00 pm to answer those questions and get more detailed information from the presenters.
