Industry Roundtable Meeting

Fellow Business Leaders:
 
The Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Joe Ferguson and the Business and Industry Department at Northeast Community College to specifically address the needs of industry in the Norfolk area. Please plan to Join other plant managers and business leaders for a 7am breakfast discussion on Tuesday, September 13^th at Bailey’s Restaurantat Country Inn & Suites on 13^th Street.   We will have you out the door by 8AM so you can get back to the office. Our goal at the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce is  to identify and discuss topics of common interest and concern, and to provide an opportunity for ongoing dialogue and involvement by the major employersand industries in the Norfolk area.
 
Our hope is that this will be the first in a series of regular monthly meetings to address common issues specific to industry such as:

• Workforce development and labor force availability
• Transportation
• Logistics
• Safety
• Training – both safety and management
• Potential shared services among the Norfolk business community
• Other hot topics of the day
