10th Annual Meet the Government Buyers Conference Omaha
Join us for the 10th annual Meet the Buyers Conference, Nebraska’s signature event connecting businesses with government buyers and representatives at the federal, state, and local levels. Whether you're already doing business with the government or you're looking to break in, this full-day, in-person event offers direct access to agency representatives, experienced primes, and resource providers all in one place.
What You’ll Experience:
- Agency Presentations (Morning): Hear directly from procurement officers and contracting officials about what they buy, how they buy, and how to stay in touch after the event.
- Lunch Provided (Noon)
- Matchmaking & Networking (Afternoon): Sit down face-to-face with agency reps and prime contractors looking for suppliers, subs, and new partnerships.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with government contracting professionals, agency representatives, potential collaborators, and industry experts.

Who is hosts this event?
This event is hosted by the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) APEX Accelerator program. APEX Accelerator consultants work with Nebraska business owners and entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses through the government marketplace. It is a free business resource with consultants available across Nebraska.
Is parking available? Free parking is available at the event.
What should I bring with me to the conference? Paper and a writing utensil will be helpful! We also encourage you to bring multiple copies of your capability statement, and plenty of business cards. Having a well-written elevator pitch ready to go is handy as well. Contact us for assistance developing your capability statement and elevator pitch.

How to Post on the Events Calendar
As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to promote your business’ events, meetings, and workshops on our Events Calendar. Being active in your community by hosting public events, is a great way to help market your business, and the Chamber is happy to assist you with this effort.
Submitting to the Events Calendar is easy, and completely FREE for all Chamber members! There are two options for Chamber businesses to use when posting events on our Events Calendar.

Member Information Center (MIC)
We encourage our members to use the Member Information Center as a way to independently post events, meetings, or workshops. Through your account information given to you by the Chamber, you are able to log into this system and post directly to our Events Calendar yourself! You can also use the MIC to access more exclusive Chamber member resources. To learn more about the MIC, or to get your account information, please contact ktichota@norfolkareachamber.com at the Chamber.

Contact the Chamber
The other option you can use when posting events, is to simply email the event details to the Chamber. The information you provide to us about your event will be used when posting onto the calendar. If you would like more control over the information given or details provided, we encourage you to try posting your event to the Member Information Center, as previously explained.
