Nebraska Rocks

Nebraska Rocks is an 18th annual celebration and rock n roll reunion, honoring Midwest musicians and music. This event features two evenings of rock and dance music from 50's/60's to modern R&B. Hosted by Nebraska and Nashville musician, Jim Casey and The Smoke Ring band, Nebraska Rocks presents seven bands over two days, and honors induction of new members of the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame.
Friday's music will be "Strictly 50's and 60's, with The Strollers, Housebroke, Judi and the Fat Cats, Big Dave Williams, Jessica Casey Clark, and surprise guest performers. Saturday's lineup includes Jim Casey and the Lightnin' Band, Mark Lambert and City Limits, The Smoke Ring (10-piece R&B horn band) and added guest bands. Tickets for the air-conditioned shows in Norfolk's Devent Center will be available June 1st at Norfolk Lodge and Suites, Norfolk Hy-Vee Stores, nd The Norfolk Catholic allumni Association, $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Alcoholoic drinks are available and ad barbecue dinner will be served both nights.  Doors open at 5 PM.  More information by email: powerdiamond2@aol.com.

How to Post on the Events Calendar

As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to promote your business’ events, meetings, and workshops on our Events Calendar. Being active in your community by hosting public events, is a great way to help market your business, and the Chamber is happy to assist you with this effort.

Submitting to the Events Calendar is easy, and completely FREE for all Chamber members! There are two options for Chamber businesses to use when posting events on our Events Calendar.

• Member Information Center (MIC)

We encourage our members to use the Member Information Center as a way to independently post events, meetings, or workshops. Through your account information given to you by the Chamber, you are able to log into this system and post directly to our Events Calendar yourself! You can also use the MIC to access more exclusive Chamber member resources. To learn more about the MIC, or to get your account information, please contact ktichota@norfolkareachamber.com at the Chamber.

• Contact the Chamber

The other option you can use when posting events, is to simply email the event details to the Chamber. The information you provide to us about your event will be used when posting onto the calendar. If you would like more control over the information given or details provided, we encourage you to try posting your event to the Member Information Center, as previously explained.
