PLANT FAIR by Northeast Nebraska Master Gardeners and UNL Extention Service
May 1 at 6 p.m. Educaitonal program 'Easy Care Hybrid Teas' by Don Swanson and noted Rosarian from Omaha, NE May 2 at 9 a.m. 'Outstanding Shrubs for Northeast Nebraska' presented by Robert Henrickson, Nebr. Statewqide Arboretum, Lincoln 10:30 a.m. 'Perennials in the Garden' by Rod Hammernick, Bluebird Nursery, Clarkson 12.00 p.m. 'Mushroom Mulching and Compost' by Diane Dickes, Diane's Greenhouse, Fordyce 12:30 p.m. 'Planting and Pruning Bareroot Roses and Easy Care Hybrid Teas' Don Swanson, Noted Rosarian, Omaha 1:30 p.m. 'Rain Gardens and Landscaping' by Sarah Browning, Extension Educator Also plants will be for sale as well as vendorswill be on hand with garden related items for sale. Childrens Activities, Door Prizes, and Lunch stand.

How to Post on the Events Calendar
As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to promote your business’ events, meetings, and workshops on our Events Calendar. Being active in your community by hosting public events, is a great way to help market your business, and the Chamber is happy to assist you with this effort.
Submitting to the Events Calendar is easy, and completely FREE for all Chamber members! There are two options for Chamber businesses to use when posting events on our Events Calendar.

Member Information Center (MIC)
We encourage our members to use the Member Information Center as a way to independently post events, meetings, or workshops. Through your account information given to you by the Chamber, you are able to log into this system and post directly to our Events Calendar yourself! You can also use the MIC to access more exclusive Chamber member resources. To learn more about the MIC, or to get your account information, please contact ktichota@norfolkareachamber.com at the Chamber.

Contact the Chamber
The other option you can use when posting events, is to simply email the event details to the Chamber. The information you provide to us about your event will be used when posting onto the calendar. If you would like more control over the information given or details provided, we encourage you to try posting your event to the Member Information Center, as previously explained.
