Tickets for the Norfolk premiere are $50 per person and will go on sale Friday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets will be sold online by visiting www.NorfolkNebraskaPremiere.com. Due to space limitations, only a limited number of tickets will be available. To provide opportunity for many to attend, each person will only be allowed to purchase two tickets. Ticket holders will be required to present their ticket at both premiere event locations.
The Paramount Vantage film is Payne’s fourth movie filmed in his home state of Nebraska. “Nebraska” is the story of a cantankerous father (Dern) who thinks he’s struck it rich after receiving a sweepstakes letter in the mail and wrangles his son (Forte) into taking a road trip to claim the fortune. Shot in black and white across four states, the film tells the stories of family life in the heartland of America. “Nebraska” was directed by Alexander Payne, written by Bob Nelson and produced by Albert Berger & Ron Yerxa.
The Norfolk Area Film Commission is a broad-based, diverse and community-wide organization consisting of representatives from the public and private sector as well as the arts and culture community.
