We invite you to join us on Thursday, September 12, at 4:30 PM at the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce. Together, we can work towards solutions that enhance the safety and well-being of our residents.

OKTOBERFEST 2024
Oktoberfest started in 1810 in Bavaria to celebrate the wedding of Prince Ludwig I. Every year, this historical celebration is held in Munich, Bavaria, Germany and begins in mid to late September. Today, Northeast Nebraska residents celebrate the area?s German heritage and the fall harvest with this two-day family festival also held in September. Oktoberfest grows yearly with live music, German food, beer garden, and family entertainment. Held in conjunction with the Lion?s Club Parade , this unique festival is a must attend! How to Post on the Events Calendar
As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to promote your business’ events, meetings, and workshops on our Events Calendar. Being active in your community by hosting public events, is a great way to help market your business, and the Chamber is happy to assist you with this effort.
Submitting to the Events Calendar is easy, and completely FREE for all Chamber members! There are two options for Chamber businesses to use when posting events on our Events Calendar.

Member Information Center (MIC)
We encourage our members to use the Member Information Center as a way to independently post events, meetings, or workshops. Through your account information given to you by the Chamber, you are able to log into this system and post directly to our Events Calendar yourself! You can also use the MIC to access more exclusive Chamber member resources. To learn more about the MIC, or to get your account information, please contact ktichota@norfolkareachamber.com at the Chamber.

Contact the Chamber
The other option you can use when posting events, is to simply email the event details to the Chamber. The information you provide to us about your event will be used when posting onto the calendar. If you would like more control over the information given or details provided, we encourage you to try posting your event to the Member Information Center, as previously explained.
