ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide professional, efficient and courteous customer service by identifying the needs of new and existing customers. Proactively promote and generate new lending and deposit relationships via knowledge of banking products and the ability to match those products and services to the customers needs.
  • Open accounts for new and existing customers and prepare new account paperwork, applications and request the required identification.
  • Maintain customer accounts. Assist customers with general account and product information requests. Prepare check orders, transfers and field service charge inquiries.
  • Assists customers with all teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
  • Identify and escalate transactions or information related to suspicious activity to the BSA department. Perform duties according to established bank policies and procedures to comply with bank controls and regulatory guidelines.
  • Fields inquiries and processes requests for consumer and mortgage loans. Assists mortgage lending officers with portfolio loans.
  • Assist in community awareness events to increase bank outreach and foster new business opportunities.
  • General reception duties including but not limited to: answering the main phone line, scanning and indexing documents, and ordering supplies.
  • Provides support to other departments as needed during peak times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
