NAHRA/CAHRA Business Training Workshop
The Norfolk Area Human Resource Association and the Columbus Area Resources Association are teaming up again for our annual business training workshop! We've expanded to a half day event to bring you two great speakers and an awesome networking experience!
Joshua Evans, national speaker and corporate trainer will present "Culture of Engagement: Why/How to Build Passionate, Engaged Teams". We'll learn how to build a focused, engaged working environment and obtain effective communication tools to build positive momentum.
John Davis, Vice-President of Supply Chain at Norfolk Iron and Metal and former college instructor will present "Effective Negotiation - Not As Hard As You Think!" Negotiation skills are relevant in any business setting including Human Resources. This important skill can be utilized when negotiating salary with a potential new hire or asking for additional funding for an essential training program. We'll learn proven techniques and tactics for win/win negotiations.

Submitting to the Events Calendar is easy, and completely FREE for all Chamber members! There are two options for Chamber businesses to use when posting events on our Events Calendar.
-
Member Information Center (MIC)
We encourage our members to use the Member Information Center as a way to independently post events, meetings, or workshops. Through your account information given to you by the Chamber, you are able to log into this system and post directly to our Events Calendar yourself!
